What a great night last night and what a great performance from the 1st team beating 3rd in the table Wigan 3-2 in a thriller..

Top matches great crowd it was buzzing and the burger boys were in town with Chris C joining regulars Adam and James M!!

First on was Rach who was called up late to replace the injured Matt whilst she was shopping in Home Bargains and Rach never really got her usual rhythm and tempo going and went down 3-0. Meanwhile on Court 1 there was a thrilling match going on, with Jamie showing his enormous improvement in 12 months and he had match ball to win 3-1 but lost that in a tie break and he went down 3-2 but it was a great performance and a top match…

So 2-0 down but we weren’t finished and crucially a 3-0 win for Thommo avenging last seasons loss to his opponent and it was three very tight games and vital for the team to still have a chance..

So to No1’s and Emyr playing the massively improved Rhys who has been knocking some 60-80 WR players off and the first two games were at such a ferocious pace and shared at 1-1 then Emyr took a little pace off the ball to get more accuracy following his brutal week in event in France and he eased his way into controlling the match and won 3-1. So 2-2 and the decider went down to the 2s and the Neston Irishman Sam and he showed his quality in winning quickly and comfortably 3-0 and a great 3-2 win for the Shrimps 🦐…

Feel bit weary today but still buzzing a proper match and very enjoyable evening and thanks for the support of a great crowd.
